Overview

As an IoT Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions that connect devices, collect data, and enable intelligent decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient IoT systems that enhance automation and business performance.

Qualification Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Designing and developing IoT-based applications and device connectivity solutions.
• Integrating sensors, devices, and gateways for seamless communication.
• Working with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Developing and testing IoT prototypes using platforms like Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
• Implementing data collection, transmission, and storage mechanisms securely.
• Collaborating with hardware and software teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensuring IoT systems meet performance, scalability, and security requirements
• Documenting technical processes and providing support for IoT deployments.

Expected Skillsets

• Strong understanding of IoT architecture and ecosystems.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, C++, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa).
• Experience with cloud IoT platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, device connectivity, and automation systems.
• Understanding of networking, sensors, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Node-RED, ThingSpeak, or other IoT development tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of IoT security practices and data protection methods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
